Terms of Service

Welcome to Dydakt. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Beta Service

  • "As Is" Basis: Dydakt is currently in Closed Beta. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • Modifications: We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time as we refine the product.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age to register for Dydakt. The service is intended for use by teachers and school staff, not students.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • Professional Use: You represent that you are using Dydakt for professional educational purposes.

3. Intellectual Property & Content

  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the prompts and materials you upload.
  • Generated Output: As between you and Dydakt GmbH, you own the rights to the materials generated by the AI (slides, worksheets, etc.) based on your inputs. You are free to use, share, and publish these materials in your classroom.
  • License to Us: You grant us a limited license to use your content solely to operate and improve the Dydakt service.

4. AI Disclaimer & Liability

  • Review Required: Dydakt uses artificial intelligence which may occasionally produce incorrect, misleading, or offensive content ("hallucinations"). You acknowledge that you are the expert. You agree to review and verify all generated materials for accuracy and appropriateness before using them with students.
  • No Warranty: We make no specific warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the content generated.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or hateful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the software or AI models.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users.
  • Input highly sensitive personal data (e.g., student medical records) into the system.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law:

  • Dydakt GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or CHF 100, whichever is greater.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect our users or services.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. The exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes shall be the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
